AMbient Intelligence Lab (AMI-Lab) at the Université de Sherbrooke is a dynamic team that targets exciting innovative research, cutting-edge technology innovation, and engaging educational training.

Professor Bessam Abdulrazak is directing several research projects in the areas of Smart Environments [e.g., Smart Home, Smart Cities, Mobile assistance] new technological enablers, architectures, intelligent interactions, and real-world deployments), Internet of Things (IoT) [e.g., scalable  architectures for smart Environments, IoT programmability, and IoT optimizations], and Assistive Technology [e.g.,successful aging, persuasive interactions, context-driven computing, and assistive technology for people with disabilities].

Students/Researchers interested in joining the AMI Laboratory are welcome to send a CV and a two pages research statement describing what they aspire to work on and achieve as part of the AMI team/vesion.
